1) my machines ping their machines = no packet loss
2) their machines ping my machines = 1-in-20 loss

When I watch the tun device and see a "loss" this is what it looks like:

We THINK we have flow control set fine.
At least stty -a < /dev/cuaa1 shows "-xon -xoff crtscts" options.
Modems are TOLD to do flow control.
Modems are 1-zoom 14.4, 1-gvc 14.4, 1-intel 14.4, 1-pratical perif 14.4
