I am trying to get a 3Com 3C505 Etherlink Plus card to work with FreeBSD
2.1. I have recompiled the Kernel a number of times. I hvae rechecked the
IRQ and I/O address several times.

When booting, the kernel recognizes the card is there (eg0), and I can
even ifconfig the interface. But it doesn't seem to work. When I attach it
to a network, and try to ping another machine, or ping it from another
machine, it fails. If I replace the card with a NE2000 compliant card
(ed0), it works fine (keep in mind, I have compiled the kernel with both
options enabled).

Any ideas?
