Can anybody give me a hint about the message I'm getting...??? Please...

When booting, and after going through all the normal messages it says:
"Mar 7... bla, bla, bla...myname mountd[79]: Can't open /var/db/mountdtab"
What is this and what is it for? If there's anything wrong with it, how do I fix it?
Should I be concerned???
Thanks to everyone in advance.

Carlos
