I would like to thank everyone who sent me email about building a cross
compiler. With the info I received I was able to compile gcc-2.2.2 to act
as one. Basicaly all I had to do was the following...

1. Download and untar gcc-2.2.2
2. configure --target=i386-beta-bsd0.1 --host=sparc-sun-sunos4.1
3. make

I don't have a cross assembler or a cross linker yet, but the compiler
creates 386BSD assembly code with no problems. If anyone has a cross
assembler or linker I would be interested in a copy, otherwise I'll post
mine when their done. Richard Tobin commented that he had posted a
patch for ld about six monts ago to make it a cross linker. Anyone
have a copy of that? When I get a complete cross development kit put
together I'll make it available on my anonymous ftp server. Thanks for
the help everyone.
