Does anyone have any ideas why the version of PINE which I installed with
the FreeBSD 2.1 distribution doesn't want to pay attention to settings I
put in a standard /usr/local/lib/pine.conf file?

It works fine on my Linux box, so I was just wondering if I need to
located the file elsewhere. The man page says /usr/local/lib/pine.conf

Thanks to anyone who can help out.
