I've tested the Mac-binary and found it to work fine for NetBSD/amiga, too,
so i took the freedom to put it into the NetBSD/amiga binary-archive here
on ftp.uni-regensburg.de (in /pub/NetBSD-Amiga/contrib/X11):

# tar zvxf phoenix-0.1.8-bin11.tar.gz
# sh /usr/local/phoenix-0.1.8/install/install.sh
De-Installation:
# sh /usr/local/phoenix-0.1.8/install/uninstall.sh
# rm -fr /usr/local/phoenix-0.1.8
# rm /bin/wiphx
*** Beware, there's a link /bin/wiphx, be sure to remove it!
