I compiled emacs-19.30 using the following commands:

goto the emacs-19.30 directory:

   './configure --with-gcc'
   'make install'
   'make extraclean'

The script configures itself and writes a Makefile. You then compile emacs
and put everything in the correct directory. Finally you clean everything
out to save on diskspace. I didn't do anything fancy, and barely knew what
I was doing in the first place. Right now I am viewing NetBSD as sort of a
fun project to use my SE/30. You should have seen twm on this small
screen---it was odd to say the least. I still can't get my logitech
mouseman to work.
