This must be a FAQ, but I can't find the answer . . .

How do you specify XF86Config Monitor parameters for laptop screens?
Do I need to track down bandwidth, sync, and refresh ranges like
a "real" monitor? (I can't find these in any of the system docs.)

The system is a Gateway 2000 solo with CT 655DGX video and
a MS IntelliPoint pointing device and the 800x600 display.
Here's the result of an "X -probeonly"

The clock values look like a problem. I guess there's alpha code around
for programming the ct65545 clock, right? Or can I hard code some default
values in XF86Config?

Thanks in advance for any help.
