Yes!  I'm using it now.

That is interesting, and points to a possible problem with your PCI
configuration (e.g. you have a conflict or misconfiguration error of
some sort).  My own probe looks like this:

meteor0 <Matrox Meteor> rev 0 int a irq 9 on pci0:9
