Try to join the freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org mailing list there
are enough people there using the matrox meteor video capture board.

I don't have any problems with it over here and I watch tv, do 
mbone stuff, etc..

Try looking in your boot up message for an ISA device which is 
configured for IRQ 11.
