Hello,
I cant get fvwm to run, :( if I start fvwm it run into an
error and the it dumps a core, What I did:
- install FreeBSD 2.1 from CD (fresh install, no upgrade)
- install XFree with near everything (no sources, no jp-xxxx
and only the S3 server)
- installed the xpm package version 3.41
- installed the fvwm package version 1.24r
- set DISPLAY=:0.0 or unix:0.0
if I start fvwm I get
TRANS (SocketUNIXConnect) () can't connect: errno=2
TRANS (SocketUNIXConnect) () can't connect: errno=2
...
if I break with ^c I got a core dump
- set DISPLAY=hostname:0.0 ; HOSTDISPLAY=hostname:0.0
if I start fvwm I get
TRANS (SocketUNIXConnect) () can't connect: errno=61
TRANS (SocketUNIXConnect) () can't connect: errno=61
...

startx or xdm work fine.
