[0]Hello, I have a Teac CD-55A quad speed CD-ROM that plugs into my SB16.
[0]The cd works fine from dos. It supposedly works very similarly to the
[0]Matsushida cd-rom, although the matcd0 driver doesn't quite work with
[0]it. So I looked at the matcd source, matcd.c specifically and saw Mr.
[0]Durda make a mention to writing a teaccd driver and it was completed or
[0]something (can't remeber exact words used) I was wondering where I could
[0]get my hands on this driver and how I'd go about adding it to my kernel
[0]config files. If anyone has any ideas I'd apprcitate it so that I don't
[0]have to go bug Mr. Durda for it.

It isn't available yet. The drive has a different command set (and
state machine) than the Panasonic drives. Hopefully it will be available
real soon! I'll announce it in the mailing lists when the beta is
available for testing.

Please send any further enquiries on CD55A/CR521/CR522 support via EMAIL.
