Keywords: Announcement of the first public release of Oscar-------------------------------------------------Oscar is an X11/Motif2.0 based filemanager, which is highly configureable by the user.Basic features and the actual core of Oscar are hardcoded, but most functions that make Oscara filemanager are based on usual commands, shell/perl scripts, etc.All buttons, menuitems, filetypes an the popup-menu can be configured with a simple ASCII-Resourcefile.

 Have you ever wondered if there is a comfortable filemanager for *nix ???
 Oscar could be, what you are looking for :-)
 

 This release of Oscar is Freeware. Use it when ever and for what ever you want.
