Yes, but you need to install special boot-blocks on the machine.  Look
in /sys/i386/boot/biosboot and build yourself a set of boot blocks with
FORCE_COMCONSOLE defined, then install them.  The machine will now come
up ALWAYS assuming a serial console, and any VGA card present will be
ignored.
