I'm trying to set up FreeBSD, using an SMC 8216C ethernet card. When the
system boots it identifies the card as an 8416C. I can see that the card
can send traffic, but doesn't seem to receive it. Also, the values entered
through ifconfig are lost when the system reboots. Any sugestions?
