Can we PLEASE stop this idiotic thread?  It may be keeping Terry
Lambert's fingers exercised, but aside from that I don't see that
anything positive has come out of the discussion for at least the last
200 rounds.  All this serves to do is give people the impression that
this newsgroup is good only for junk flame wars between the Linux and
FreeBSD advocates, and while such is occasionally the case I'd prefer
not to see the bulk of its bandwidth wasted thusly.

You say sync, I say async, let's call the whole thing off!
