Subject: Removing hostname from From: line in sent mail

I have a local TCP network and 1 main bsd system
on calldei.com (dei). All my mail gets sent to
dei.calldei.com (via an MX record) This is
what I want. However, whenever I *send* mail
it puts my hostname in the From line.
I want my From line to be

From: dave@calldei.com

instead of

From: dave@dei.calldei.com

I'm sure this is a common question,
but since I dont have a PhD in sendmail.cf
I cant figure it out! Anyone have any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance
Please CC any answers to dave@calldei.com.

dave@calldei.com (no matter what my From line says!)
