I have complied my kernel with Linux compatiblity.
Then i issue this command modload -e linux_init /lkm/linux_mod.o.
This makes linux version of Doom to run on FreeBSD.

Then i tried to run the Linux version of netscape.
The reason being that it supports java.

Netscape runs but it is not able to find the nameserver.

it says
resolv+: "bind" is an invalid keyword
resolv+: "hosts" is an invalid keyword

due to which it is not able to find the nameserver.
But if i specify the Ip address of a host then it works.
I even got java working.

The errors are from host.conf file. Which contains the bind and hosts
entry.

Is there a way to make netscape to look into the nameserver.

Any help ???

thanx
