Summary: porting Java to NetBSD/mc68k
Keywords: Java NeBSD
X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2]

I am very interested in obtaining a version of the Java programming
environment for NetBSD/m68k. (as well as the HotJava browser, etc...)
Has anyone started on a port of this software to NetBSD? On a related
note, I tried to build the pthreads package on my NetBSD/Amiga system,
but discovered that the MC68000 support is not completely in there,
at least not in the 1.60 beta. There seemed to have been some files
related to this architecture, but not everything. Is there currently
a thread engine available for NetBSD/mc68k ? Futhermore, would there be
interest in organizing an effort to port Java to this platform?
