You are absolutely right. I have not used it. I played with it
for one day at a friends house and did not like it. I did not
like Win3.1 when I first used it, either. I am an old DOS user. A
lot of my applications I currently use are DOS programs and I use
WFWG3.11 to lauch them. (Better than Software Carousel) I have
WSWord6.0c and Excel5.0c and I do use them and for the most part,
I like them. My system is an OLD 486 with a few facelifts (My
BIOS is dated 11/90.) It's currently a 486dx2/66 with 12mb ram
and 1.2gb hard disk partitioned as 2 500mb and 1 200mb drive. My
bus is standard isa, vesa wasn't out when I got it. Here's my
problem. EVERYTHING CURRENTLY WORKS FINE! With a problem like
that, why would I want to upgrade? I will upgrade some day. From
what I read in these newsgroups, it will probably be to WinNT,
and that will happen when I replace my current system. No current
plans to do so yet.... By the way, I really did use EDLIN....
