: Any advice or tips on setting up freebsd as a dns server?

Get the O'Reilly book. You'll save yourself a lot of hair
pulling.

: Also, I'm working on setting my FreeBSD box as a UUCP mail hub, but
: haven't set one up from scratched (managed ones already in place).

Piece of cake.

: Which is better, Taylor or HDB?

I find Taylor to be a LOT more flexible.

: I'm using getty - will that be a problem? (used uugetty on another
: box)

Shouldn't be.

: Any other help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Get the O'Reilly book for Managing UUCP too. :)
