Hi folks

We have set up a PPP link using kernel PPP over a dedicated leased line. The
link comes up OK, with telnet and ftp going through fine, but after about one
minute it dies with a message along the lines of `too many LCP echo request
failures'.

The line condition seems fine if we just use cu, so line noise shouldn't be the
issue. Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks in advance
Gram
