I am new to this freebsd news group so forgive me if I as simple
questions.

Question 1:
Is there a X version of the gdb debugger that comes with Freebsd? If
there is, where can I find it and do I need the most recent version of
gcc?

Question 2:
If I need to compile and build a new gcc/g++ environment under FreeBSD,
are there any pit falls I should now about prior to compiling.

Thanks,

Angel G. Ortiz
