simply install FreeBSD on this partition and let freebsd write
a bootmanager, if it ask for them.

If you dont have a free partition, use fips from your FreeBSD-cdrom
to split some free space into a new partition.
During the installation, simply delete this new partition and create
one for freebsd with this new free space.
