BINGO!  This did the trick for me too.  We need to get this into some
documentation somewhere.  What's the best place and how do we get it in?

BTW, I thank everybody for the helpful emails I got.  The energy of
the help I got was the main reason I switched from NetBSD to FreeBSD!!
