I have the same problem with NetBSD 1.1 on a 486DX2/66.
XFree86 locks up the keyboard immediately when started.
However, all processes are active, mouse reponse is very good,
but the darn keyboard just won't work.

I've tried reconnecting the keyboard, but that doesn't do anything.
My motherboard has SIS chipset, AMI BIOS, with a Cirrus Logic SVGA.

Is this a known bug in NetBSD1.1? or XFree86 3.x.x?
I would like to know if I need to move on to NetBSD-current.

This doesn't happen with I run Linux with X. :)
