I would not "recommend" a dual-pentium Neptune motherboard unless you
needed MP support right now.  Firstly Neptune has had historical problems
supporting more than (2, I think) PCI bus masters, and usually significantly
slower than Triton.  The disadvantage of Triton is that it only supports
128MB of ram (64MB cached in some cases).  That limitation is usually a bit
less constraining (for example gateway applications where you might want
2 ethernet interfaces, 1 scsi -- Bzzt -- 3 busmasters.)  If more memory is
needed, you could get a single processor Neptune for probably about the
same money as a Triton -- the MP boards appear to be a bit more expensive.
