Diamond has a habit of radically changing their hardware without
changing the names.  So judging from a name is a bit dangerous...

I don't really recommend a 3c503 for a PCI machine, and the 3c509
driver might or might not work for you.  If you are interested in a
stable, good-performing driver, get a DEC21040-based Ethernet card.

(Internal modems are a matter of taste.  Most people don't like to
power-cycle their machines just to reset a hanging modem. :)
