I'm trying to move an application over to FreeBSD 2.1 (the problem existed
on 2.05 too) from osf/1 and Linux that uses tput. Its a menuing application
that is in perl and uses tput calls to put stuff onto the screen.

Most of the tput functions (get arrow key, reverse/bold print, position
cursor etc..) don't work on FreeBSD. Does anyone have any insight into what
is wrong?

I really want to bring these servers up under FreeBSD but I can't take the
time to rebuild all these menus on another application. I really want to get
off Linux. Any help would be greatly appreciated (and put freebsd into another
ISP).
