MorningStar PPP now supports Micro$oft's illegal option negotiations.
As pompous as MS was about this I must agree that it makes it a little
easier for clueless Win95 users to connect. It negotiates both primary
and secondary DNS server addresses and WINS server addresses.

All they need to know to connect is a phone number, a userid, and a
password.

Get the AUTOPPP detect code in mgetty and you can make the terminal
server display a login prompt but exec pppd if the tell-tale PPP pattern
is received instead of a userid.

mgetty did much more than I needed so I put the simple AUTOPPP state
machine into a simple getty and it works great.
