The "chpass" command does not work correctly on many of my BSD/OS 2.0 systems,
but works fine on others. When I run the command on some systems, all I get
back is a "no changes made" message instead of being put into an editor for
changes.

bsd:~> chpass
chpass: no changes made
bsd:~> chpass jason
chpass: no changes made

On other systems, chpass works perfectly. Any ideas why I am getting the
above? I find it convenient to edit the user database information with an
editor. Thanks much.
