:
:Sure. It won't appear in the 'list of supported platforms' until it's a
:supported platform, though.
:
:In fact, I've heard of work in progress for NetBSD, FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
:I think that most of the work is going toward the Motorola machines (for
:various reasons), but much of the code should be reusable on other systems.
:
:I'm working with the PowerMac 8500, myself, but I'm still in the
:"let's see if I can get it to netboot 'hello, world'" stage... ;-)

I got a 7200 myself, and I am interested in NetBSD as well.
I don't know much about the low level stuff on the PMac, but I knows a lot
about 68k assembler, and the Mac toolbox. I am also running Linux on a PC
here, with about 70 users now. But usually no more than 35 a day.

Played with Minix and NetBSD on my Mac SE/30 back in time.

:I'm sure that there will be announcements in the .announce newsgroups
:when there is something sufficiently ready for testing and info will go
:up on the web site in "supported platforms" when there is a supported
:platform. ;-)
:
:Which platform are you interested in?

I am interested in PowerMac. And I might help getting stuff running.
