I inserted a Sun SCSI card in an SS20 running Solaris 2.3 patched to the
hilt. I did not move any other cards. The "boot -r" reassigned the
new controller as controller 0, which of course, didn't have any boot
devices on it.

I have unde my care a SS2000 with 32 drives that reassigned everything
when someone did a "boot -r" by mistake. Solaris 2.3.
