We're trying to install on an IBM ThinkPad 755CDV. This machine has the "feature" that the floppy drive and the CDROM drive occupy the same bay, and cannot both be present at once. I can boot from BSD 2.0 install floppies 1 and 2. When I am asked to mount the CD-ROM, I can suspend the ThinkPad and do a warm swap of the floppy drive for the CD-ROM drive; but mcd0 was not detected during autoconfiguration, so I'm dumped out to a shell because the CD-ROM cannot be mounted. Is there something I can do at that shell prompt to get the system to redetect and configure mcd0? If not, is there some other way to install on this box?
