STonX runs fine, but it also emulates the 68000 CPU ! This will make it
terribly slow on a native 68020 (e.g. Sun 3). You could, of course, always 
take the sources and remove the 68000 emulation ...

Maybe you could contact Christoph Wilhelm (wilhelm@vespa.unix-ag.uni-siegen.de)
about that, he was working on removing the CPU emulation code for using STonX
with NetBSD/Amiga.
