I'd love to use copy_kernel. The problem is, it never seems to have
that command installed. When I re-boot (after a halt command) it doesn't seem
to realize that the harddrive has enough of BSD on it to use, but it does
realize that it has enough there to ask for BSD floppies.

I've manually mounted a kernal disk in the second drive. I try to cp
the whole kern/, but it doesn't like the file "rootdev" very much. In fact,
ls -asl doesn't even like it. What is this file supposed to be doing? Why
doesn't a simple cp work? Where can I get copy_kernel from?

To answer your questions, I do get to the # prompt just after it
populates and bootstraps. I just can't "reboot", or "halt"/warm-boot, or even
turn off and then on the computer. If I do, it won't use anything on the hard
drive without a "mount -v /dev/rwd0a /mnt" command. :(

Could it be my IDE controler?
