Well...  It'll sort of run on the LCIII.  It requires a serial console
for current kernels, but some work by John Wittkoski will allow the
regular ADB keyboard & mouse to work.

Hmm... I've not heard of this Linux-II.  There is a Linux/ppc which
is porting to the Motorola Ultra boards, the Be, and a machine from
FirePower.  They have apparently gained some contact at Apple, recently,
and might be able to get some support from them.
The B&W X, at least, sounds like a limitation from NetBSD/mac68k--we're
lacking some of the driver support required to get color X up and
running.
