Hi Daniel. I'd suggest to read the manpage about disklabel. So you 
get the needed infos how to disklabel a harddisk.

If it's a SCSI device, then it should be recognized automatically
by the kernel. Should be /dev/sd1 then, if the SCSI ID is > than
the ID of your bootdisk.

The hardest part will be to disklabel the disk. Newfs and such
should be clear ;-) Ah ... not to forget, you have to create
device nodes via MAKEDEV. The MAKEDEV script contains infos
for that purpose.

Sorry for the undetailed answer, but I don't have a second 
harddisk handy ... perhaps the hint with disklabel helps a bit...

this answer than none ;-)
