So : what are your hassles? : I did say EXABYTE EXB-2501. It is SCSI-2 abd uses QIC tapes. I always get time: out errors with drive in FreeBSD 2.1.0 but no problems with linux or DOS. I : am using a 1542C adapter and have had no problems with it with any operating : system.
