Hello World!

For those of you in South Africa who wish to run FreeBSD-STABLE or
FreeBSD-CURRENT, there is now a local (Well Sort of - Pretoria!)
sup server.

Point your SUP client at sup.za.freebsd.org and enjoy the speed! This site
is connected to UNINET, and has good connectivity to most South African
users. Unfortunately, due to the congestion of the international lines,
users not in South Africa or getting their service directly from SA
will get a somewhat less than optimum transfer rate.

This site also maintains an up-to-date copy of the Crypto software, so
there is no need to compromise US sites.

For those who prefer FTP, ftp.za.freebsd.org contains the latest releases
and snapshots.

Any problems? Please mail mark@grondar.za
