I'm working with OS/2 boot manager and FreeBSD:

1- Make sure you have OS/2 boot manager installed
2- Make sure you have unallocated free space on your disk
3- Install FreeBSD on this free space (without FreeBSD manager)
4- If you restart the system, FreeBSD will boot by default
5- So use the OS/2 install floppy and reinstall the OS/2 boot manager
   adding the FreeBSD partition

That's it!
