It would help cut the flaming immensely, or at least let people
justifiably flame the bejesus out of the flamers.  8-).

But it would really, really, limit the possible participants.

Personally, I wouldn't be able to participate under those terms
because I run "most recent" FreeBSD, NetBSD, and Linux code, so
I would be required to downgrade two or more systems to be able
to give accurate comparative information.
