Having problems with a modem under FreeBSD, directly after I get the
login prompt all LEDs on the modems starts blinking (login/getty problem?).
Are there any tools for FreeBSD with which I can see who's messing
with /dev/cuaa1 and /dev/ttyd1 (lsof, ofiles compile?)
One problem is that the computer is located offsite (users home).
When booting, serial ports seems ok, and I can't find any conflicts in
the output from dmesg.

       sio0 at 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 on isa
       sio0: type 16550A
       sio1 at 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 3 on isa
       sio1: type 16550A

There is nothing wrong with the modem/cables, it works under two different
Microsoft OSs I'm told. Any idea/clue how I can solve this problem without
having access to any FreeBSD system :-(

Thanks in advance!

/Lasse
