How may I put a NIS server into restricted mode access list ?
I need this for making my machine a nis client.
But when starting ypbind with

'ypbind -S adam.cs.uni-magdeburg.de'

there is no return statement (so it seams to be okay).
But when opening a new xterm (as root, as user all wents right (without
nis)), I get a message like this:

'Dec 8 11:35:56 marvin ypbind[20842]: NIS server at 141.44.21.200 not in
restricted mode access list -- rejecting.'

BTW: adam is 141.44.21.200 and the NIS server.

Is it normal that the login process is slowed down _very_ much since I
try to make the machine a nis client ?

Thanks for any help in advance.
