Terry, I did not mean to imply that your 386BSD FAQ was not good.  On
the contrary, it's wonderful.  Only one minor complaint about it
though: there was only one section describing X386.  I think it would
be nice if some knowledgeable person would put together a 386BSD/X386
FAQ that dwells solely on installation and troubleshooting issues for X.

My main problem appears to be that I have installed the X386 that was
in agate.berkeley.edu:/pub/386BSD/0.1-ports/X386/X386-1.2E.bin.tar.Z-split.
Unfortunately, that version did not come with any nice install scripts.
As soon as I get time, I will take Amancio's advice and get the version
in agate.berkeley.edu:/pub/incoming/X386.

Ah, so there is such a FAQ.  Could this FAQ be made available on anon ftp
sites, or possibly be posted more regularly?  I made sure to look for
such a FAQ before I asked my earlier questions, but I didn't find it.
