:   The MakeBootTape script is broken.  The quickest way to fix it, is to 
: gunzip all the files beforehand, and modify the script to read the image

No dice.  I have so far gotten the same results.  You mentioned the quickest
way to fix it, is there a best way to fix it?  Thanks for the help.
