Yes, on 01 Oct 92 when it goes from "Alpha" to "Beta", it will be generally
available. Speed at which this occurs depends on how quickly and/or
completely agate is mirroed to other sites by the other sites administrators.

The "DISTRIBUTION.HOSTS" document, like most of 386BSD, is a Jolitz
production. From what people tell me, they are busily at work on 0.2, which
is basically why people like me, Nate, Chris, Julian, and crew are assuming
the support and bugfix roles... to free them from constant interruptions.

All FTP archives are under local management. This means that a
document like "DISTRIBUTION.HOSTS" can't accurately state the locations of
the software on a particular archive site... local conditions may cause the
location to change without warning.

The fact that you have the "DISTRIBUTION.HOSTS" at pretty much means
you have already found the location in at least one archive. 8-).
