Thanks, for the reply.  It kinda does.  I was looking more for a comparison
like one might do for Berkeley FFS vs. older version 7 fs.  The one I've
read explained the general fs organization and why FFS is faster than V7.
I was kinda looking for the same general compairson of FreeBSD UFS and
Linux's ext2fs.
