Swap space is interleaved.  When I chose the I/O sizes, I tried to make
sure that the interleave is taken advantage of so that the effective
performance is higher than if only one disk is used.  You should see an
improvement, especially if you have been swapping and doing user I/O
on the same drive.  An additional disk should help -- but again --
how much, I don't know.
