I've got a system with 2 ide drives and a 1542 with 2 SCSI drives on it.
I'd like to install FreeBSD on one of the scsi drives, but the last time
I tried, I would have have to disable the ide drives and re-enable the
bios on my scsi card to get it to boot past the initial floppy
installation, which was complicated by the fact that I had all the files
to install FreeBSD from on the second dos ide disk. Does the install now
put in a boot manager that will allow me to tell the kernel to mount an
arbitrary drive as / on bootup?
